Prime IV Hydration & Wellness unveils Nashville location amid plans for 97 new franchise spas this year

04 Jul 2024
Nutrient vitamin IV therapy franchise, Prime IV Hydration & Wellness, is accelerating its expansion across the US, having recently launched its third location in Nashville's Green Hills area.

Founded in 2017 by wellness industry veteran and scientist Amy Neary, Prime IV has swiftly grown to over 125 locations nationwide to meet the increasing consumer demand for non-invasive wellness solutions.

Franchise services include IV therapy, micronutrient injections, NAD+ treatments, weight loss solutions, cryotherapy and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy.

The company plans to open an additional 97 spas this year, aiming for a total of 750 franchise locations by the end of 2027.

In 2023 alone, Prime IV opened 59 new spas, marking a 120 per cent year-over-year growth, up from 113 per cent in 2022.

Shifting preferences
The latest Nashville location was developed through a partnership with local healthcare entrepreneur Dr Gary Ferguson. With 45 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Ferguson has launched and sold eight businesses and overseen initial public offerings for several technology-enabled healthcare services companies.

“In recent years, I’ve seen consumer preferences noticeably shift from traditional inpatient hospital and ambulatory care experiences to more accessible, preventative healthcare modalities that place personal wellbeing first,” he said.

“That shift is directly responsible for the incredible growth that brands like Prime IV are seeing today. Once I began looking for my next business venture, I knew this was a franchise that could positively impact the people of Nashville.”

“Gary’s experience developing and advancing some of the healthcare fields’ most innovative technologies and concepts makes his vote of confidence in the Prime IV business model all the more heartening,” said Neary, Prime IV CEO and founder.

Ferguson has already expressed an intent to introduce additional Prime IV locations to the market, as a means to bolster the modality’s presence in the area and public access to a service claimed to improve hydration, boost athletic performance and recovery, fight fatigue, treat sun exposure, support weight loss efforts and more.

“We’re confident not only in the success his team will find with their first spa but in the role he’ll play building the brand’s regional footprint throughout the Nashville Metro Area,” Neary said.
