Kerzner to boost wellness portfolio with new SIRO and One&Only destinations in 2025

02 Oct 2024
Resort developer and operator Kerzner International has announced plans to expand its portfolio of luxury hotels and residences with two new fitness-centric wellness destinations in 2025.

The first, SIRO Boka Place, will be operated under the group’s fitness-focused hospitality lifestyle brand SIRO which invites guests to live at their fullest potential through a specialised blend of hospitality, fitness and wellness.

With a flagship property in Dubai, the brand's philosophy has been built around five biohacking pillars – fitness, nutrition, sleep, recovery and mindfulness – with tech integrations built in.

Health and wellbeing are a part of every step of the customer journey which includes access to extensive fitness and recovery facilities, nutritious F&B options and sanctuary-like guestrooms designed to promote restful recovery and sleep.

Scheduled to open in Q2 2025, SIRO Boka Place will be situated in Tivat on Montenegro's west coast, with views of the Bay of Kotor. Kerzner envisions that the property will offer a fusion of urban living and nature-inspired fitness adventures.

SIRO is already on track for a big year in 2025 after Kerzner announced plans to take SIRO to Mexico and Saudi Arabia as part of its goal to open 100 locations.

One&Only goes stateside
Kerzner's premium hotel brand, One&Only Resorts, is also expanding in 2025 with the opening of its first US property, One&Only Moonlight Basin, in Montana.

Designed by architect Olson Kundig, the year-round alpine retreat will span 8,100 acres in the mountain town of Big Sky, overlooked by the imposing Madison Range.

Wellness will be at the heart of the 92-key resort’s offerings, featuring an alpine spa sanctuary with treatments inspired by the surrounding wilderness.

In addition to operating its own One&Only Spas, the brand also works with external luxury spa operators, including Chenot and Guerlain, to run its wellness facilities.

The group has yet to announce a spa operator for its Montana outpost.

Guests will be encouraged to continue embracing wellness beyond the spa through various seasonal activities that promote an active lifestyle while exploring the area’s natural beauty.

The destination, designed for adventure-seekers, will offer horse riding, hiking, mountain biking and kayaking in the summer, as well as skiing and snowboarding in the winter, complete with ski-in, ski-out access.

Additional amenities will include a resort observatory, a forest-to-plate dining concept, a hidden moonshine whiskey shack nestled in the woods and a private lakeside beach.
